Eastern Indiana Development District is the five counties of Henry, Randolph, Rush, Union, and Wayne. EIDD is recognized by both State Indiana and EDA as an economic development district.

The I-70 corridor through the region is recognized as a common economic development tool.

EIDD provides technical assistance to local governments and organizations for planning and implemnting development projects.

EIDD has a regional economic development strategy which includes continuing the development of the I-70 corridor and providing assistance to each of our member counties.

EIDD is the only regional planning organization with an Agribusiness Development Specialist on staff.

EIDD is governed by a regional board made up of elected officals, local economic development organizations, business and community leaders from all five represented counties.
